In a remarkable act of compassion, the Global Volunteers Corps, in collaboration with the Pokrom District of The Church of Pentecost, visited the Nsawam Prisons on Saturday, 28th September 2024. The visit aimed to offer spiritual support and provide essential supplies to the inmates.
During the visit, volunteers shared the word of God, prayed with the prisoners, and engaged in uplifting conversations with them.
In addition to the spiritual support, a generous donation of items including rice, maize, soft drinks, biscuits, water, soaps, and other necessities was made to improve the welfare of the inmates.
The gesture was received with gratitude, as it provided both physical and emotional relief to the incarcerated individuals.
This visit forms part of the ongoing efforts by the Global Volunteers Corps and The Church of Pentecost to positively impact communities and offer hope to marginalized groups in society.
